Join us in College Station for the 2022 Texas Traffic Safety Conference. We are excited to be meeting in person this year. The conference will focus on engineering, design, and user behavior as well as the integration of these areas to address fatal and serious injury crashes in Texas.
Texas is in the process of revising the state’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) as well as the annual update of plans required at the state and federal levels. Additionally, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is calling on states to infuse The Safe System approach, so it is important that these activities are represented at the annual Traffic Safety Conference. The conference program will concentrate on high priority safety areas in Texas including Roadway and Lane Departures, Impaired Driving, Intersection Safety, Vulnerable Users, Speeding, Distraction and Post-Care Care. Additionally, the conference will highlight innovative approaches to address safety concerns including up and coming technologies.
