DWI March for Change

January 23, 2018

Flyer | March for ChangeOn March 9 2018,  at 10 a.m. on the South Steps of the State Capitol, everyone is encouraged to gather for a short 30-minute silent march to the single beat of a drum. The AAA Texas DWI March for Change will honor lives lost too soon and also encourage all Texans to change bad habits when it comes to impaired driving.

Spring is a time many celebrate a rite of passage, take a break from studies and work, and enjoy quality time with friends, family and loved ones. However, during this month of spring festivities, such as spring break and SXSW, we must not forget to celebrate wisely. Tragedies as a result of drinking and driving are entirely preventable if you plan ahead before you celebrate so intoxicated drivers don’t kill or injure themselves or others.

Please join AAA Texas, law enforcement officers and people who’ve lost loved ones to impaired driving for the annual DWI March for Change on Friday, March 9 at 10 am at the State Capitol in Austin. Please share this invitation with anyone who may be able to join the march to remember and educate in an attempt to make Texas roads safer for everyone.
